From Chatelaine

I have wanted to do this since we moved into our apartment nearly two years ago. It was a huge undertaking, however: first I had to deal with a four year backlog of photos I hadn’t worked on yet. Then I had to decide which images to use, and work out a plan to figure out what sizes to print them. I decided to go with Ikea Ribba frames (although I actually tried to go the cheaper Nyttja way first, but returned them when I thought the clear plastic had recycling symbols printed on it and was thus unuseable… turns out this is a removeable film to protect the thin plexi glass)
Anyway, this project was such a comedy of errors (if comedies make you want to cry…) I kept having to return to stores for one thing or another and it just seemed like it would never end. But it’s done now, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s not perfect, but we won’t be living here forever - so I’ll get another try at it next time!

Guess what, it’s fall!

Summer on a plate!
In my (admitedly non-exhaustive) search for Whole Wheat Pancakes… I found that most recipes included at least as much white flour as Whole Wheat (if not more)
I was curious to see if making pancakes with nothing but whole wheat flour would work. It turns out, it does. And they’re delicious!

There is totally cake in my oven right now… :)

Just another basic stir fry - but this time on Quinoa.

Our Cinco de Mayo feast

Just dump a handful of fresh blueberries into a bowl of quick cook oats before popping in the microwave for the usual time. Purple oatmeal!

The jam is from last season so I’m trying to use it up ;)
I’m sure any basic butter cookie recipe would do. Served with Barry’s tea, of course!
